INTERNAL DEVENTAL TOOTH WHITENING

The patient has undergone dental trauma at a young age that has affected teeth 21 and 22.
Following this tooth accident the teeth are darkened in an extreme way. The first approach was to proceed with internal teeth whitening. The patient was very satisfied with the achieved result and did not want other therapies.

IMPACTED TOOTH SURGERY

In this case the patient presented a lower left impacted canine in a position that did not allow for its alignment on the dental arch through orthodontic treatment. The tooth was then extracted surgically.

CERAMIC VENEERS

01

First case

0083_10240199_1024_2

The patient presented a badly attached ceramic-metal crown on tooth 21 that maintained constant gum inflammation. In addition teeth 11, 12 and 13 underwent very significant wear to the point that it compromised the aesthetic of the smile. Correcting defects was achieved by applying ceramic veneers on teeth 13, 12, 11, 22 and 23 and an inlay-ceramic crown on tooth 21, at the same time taking advantage of significantly reducing the diastema between the two central incisors.

SECONDO CASOSECONDO CASO5

La dentatura presentava sui denti 12 11 21 22 delle faccette in composito che con il passare degli anni si sono lentamente degradate e non soddisfacevano più le esigenze estetiche della paziente. The teeth had composite veneers on teeth 12, 11, 21 and 22 that with time slowly degraded and no longer satisfied the aesthetic needs of the patient. After creating a mock-up (pre-visualising the final result directly in the mouth) and after discussing the details with the patient, we created 6 ceramic veneers. The products allowed us to slightly close the spaces between the teeth, creating a dazzling smile and rejuvenating the look of the smile.

Third Case

TERZO CASOFACETTE2

The patient wanted to improve the look of their smile in that the upper incisors 11 and 21 were divergent and 12 and 22 were conoid teeth (smaller than normal). Orthodontic treatment allowed us to reposition the two central incisors in a more natural position and the lateral incisors were covered with ceramic veneers to improve shape and size.

PERIODONTAL SURGERY: NECK COVERING

01

First Case

1 CASO O1-CASO-Bu

The presence of gum recession at the level of the canine collars and the upper premolars were very important and inaesthetic. The pericoronal tissue is very thin with a reduced present of attached gum. In order to prevent excessive that can endanger parodontal stability of the canine, a coronal repositioning with inserted connective tissue taken from the palate. The final result is very satisfying and a greater resistance of tissues to mechanical irritation is obtained.

Second Case

2-CASO-u-prima2 CASO DOP

Very significant gum recession on teeth 21, 22 and 23 appeared because of incorrect toothbrushing. In this case the patient was first instructed on adequate brushing and afterwards the coronal gum was repositioned was performed by adding a connective tissue graft taken from the palate area. The thickening of the attached gum around the neck of the tooth allows us to maintain a stable, long term result.

SIMPLE IMPLANTOLOGY CASES

The patient suffered the loss of the first lower left molar (36) due to radicular fracture. As the adjacent teeth were in an optimum state we decided to replace the tooth with a Straumann Bone-level implant. After sufficient time, the impression was taken and a ceramic tooth was inserter to be screwed into the implant. The access route to the occlusal screw is then closed with an aesthetic filling. You can see the perfect integration of the product and the presence of gum papillae that close the gaps in between the teeth.

COMPLEX IMPLANTOLOGY AND FIXED DENTURES CASES

01

First Case

04577impiantologia complessa 4

The patient underwent strong trauma at work that caused a fracture in the central incisor (11) and a partial fracture in the lateral incisor (12). The latter was able to be saved by following a root treatment and then recovering with a ceramic crown. Tooth 11 had to be extracted and after healing time a Straumann implant was placed and reconstructed with a ceramic crown.

Second Case

secondo caso impiantologiasecondo-caso-3-ok-

The patient underwent two accidents, one a few months after the other, which caused a fracture in the central incisors. They lost the canine, the lateral incisors and the buccal bony plate. In order to insert an implant in the canine area that would allow replacing the two missing teeth, it was necessary to perform a bone transplant

After waiting a few months that allowed for good graft integration, a Straumann bone-level implant was inserted. The final prosthetic phase was carried out with a small bridge in extension on the canine and the ceramic crowns.

Third Case

terzo caso impiantoterzo caso impianto 3-4

After an accident, the patient lost a lower incisor, fractured the canine and lost an upper incisors with the relative vestibular bone palate. On the upper arch it was necessary to carry out a bone implant before proceeding to place a Straumann bone-level implant. On the lower arch the same type of implant was placed and simultaneously created with a small bone augmentation. To be able to harmonise the colours of the restoration and improve the aesthetics, in the final prosthetic rehabilitation the old lower incisor crowns were replaced.
